MEET THE LEADERSHIP

Shad Hedy

Founder, Chairman, President

Shad is Chairman and President of ABCoA, Inc., a company he founded in 1983. A pioneer in the BHPH technology industry, Shad created both the AMS and Deal Pack softwares, in addition to more than 54,000 programs over the past 35 years. He patented credit inquiry and reporting via the Internet, worked with Tom O’Connell to discover the IRS loopholes that made the Related Finance Company possible, and has never lost an IRS litigation. Mr. Hedy programmed for various industries – healthcare, public accounting, construction, automotive, and financial services. He realized the need for automation and standardization in the used car industry after working with a prominent car dealer in North Florida. With a focus on total solutions and superior service, Mr. Hedy created AMS, a Unix-based application that debuted in 1983, and Deal Pack, a Windows-based software that launched in 2000. Mr. Hedy leads the strategy and growth of ABCoA and continues to develop industry standards. He holds a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Accounting and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Florida and Jones Business College.

Jonathan Hedy

Executive Vice President

Jonathan oversees ABCoA’s daily operations and major initiatives, developing the strategy and driving performance of ABCoA and its subsidiaries. He has over seventeen years of experience in the automotive and subprime finance industries. Jonathan held roles in every department at ABCoA, where he learned each aspect of the company, the industry it promotes, and customers it serves. He is a licensed automobile dealer and frequent speaker at dealer compliance and technology conferences. Jonathan founded a scholarship that supports its recipients during all four years of undergraduate study, while providing mentorship for the ensuing world. He graduated in less than three years from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.

Evelyn ("Evie") Hedy

Director of Marketing

Evie is Director of Marketing at ABCoA, Inc. She has managed the company’s marketing and sales channels since 2001. Prior to this role, Evie worked as the marketing executive secretary with Burns and Roe, then moved to marketing assistant at Crowley American Transport, where she was rapidly promoted to the customer service then telemarketing sales departments. Mrs. Hedy began with only a single Deal Pack customer in the state of Georgia. Today, her territory spans 48 states and six countries worldwide. Support after the sale is imperative to Evie, and she takes pride in knowing that the ABCoA team stands behind her all the way. Evie holds an Associate’s degree from Jones Business College.

Paul Guerber

Technical Manager

Paul joined the ABCoA team in September 2001. He has spent the last 30 years in the Information Technology community working as an IT Manager in the finance community and proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer with vast experience in all aspects of the Information Technology field. Paul is married to his wife of 24 years with one child. He enjoys the outdoors and is an avid fisherman. He has also been known to enjoy a fine cigar with an aged whiskey.

Sammy Rabiei

Product Manager

Sammy Rabiei joined ABCoA in 2005 and acts as Product Manager, a function designed to intersect business, technology, and user experience. Sammy is a graduate of the University of North Florida and is a double major in Finance and Accounting.

Amir Dabiri

Support Manager

Amir has been with the company for combined 12 years. He played the violin professionally for 13 years and was a member of the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra at the age of 18. He loves fishing and the great outdoors.

Chunghwan Lee

Programming Manager

Chunghwan has worked as a programmer at ABCoA since 1998. His academic background is electrical/computer engineering and he has a master degree in it. He enjoys living in Jacksonville with his family and likes fishing and traveling widely. Important aspects of his life include God and family (wife, one daughter and puppy).

Jillian Thompson

Office Manager

Jillian grew up in Jacksonville, Florida as a 4th generation Floridian who loves more than anything to be outside, whether it’s fishing, skiing, cooking out or just soaking up the sun at a Florida Gator Football game. Through her high school years she spent a lot of time working in her grandmother’s restaurant and catering business. She is a graduate of Florida State Community College, majoring in Dental Hygiene. After working in the medical field for 8 years, she found her home with ABCoA in July 2011. Not many people can actually say they love their jobs, but she can!!
